Max Sugden is a Vice President within the Development Investment team at Telford Living. Max works across the development lifecycle of a development; from identifying and securing land sites that are suitable for living sector projects, to securing capital partners to enable the delivery of the scheme.
Since joining the firm in 2021, Max has evolved from a capital markets-focused role to one overseeing the successful delivery of the project from conception through to development exit, working closely with the in-house development and technical teams. Max has been heavily involved in Telford’s most recent living sector funding deals, equating to over £550m; being International Way, Stratford with Legal & General; Alperton Bus Garage / Capital Interchange Way, Brentford / Mill Road, Ilford with Ridgeback & Angelo Gordon; and Gallions Reach with Sigma & EQT.
With more than a decade of experience within the residential and living sectors, Max began his career at Grainger plc in 2013 as a graduate before progressing to Acquisitions Manager where led on a number a BTR transactions across the UK, totaling c.£280m. He subsequently moved to Guild Living, a later living operator, as an Investment Manager where he was responsible for securing pipeline for the business alongside overseeing the progression of the existing projects.
