Telford Living is committed to understanding the environmental impact of our business operations. Currently one-fifth of the UK’s carbon emissions come from homes, and we actively seek ways to measure and minimise those impacts. Sustainability is the ‘golden thread’ woven throughout the project lifecycle. We forecast our Whole Life Carbon intensity on schemes to minimise both operational and embodied carbon emissions from materials. We also deploy technologies to deliver fossil-fuel-free, electrified systems. Telford Living believes diversity in thought and perspective is critical to long-term business success, industry leadership and the evolution of our firm. Trammell Crow, the U.S.-based operation of our parent group, established a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiative in 2011. Today, a DEI Steering Committee, including members of the TCC Executive Committee, leads the initiative. Our corporate-wide commitment is formalised through three pillars: Company, Community, and Industry. This helps to ensure DEI is fully integrated into our goals and policies, the communities where we build, and our effort to create a more diverse industry.
